Harness the Power of Your Word of the Year

Hey there!

Happy New Year! 🎉

Now that all the cooking and visiting and wrapping and unwrapping are behind us, it’s time to turn our eyes to the future. And if you’re at all like me, you’re probably thinking at least a little bit about planning, goal setting and getting organized, right?

Good. Because the intentions you set for your year can be surprisingly powerful, especially when you take the time to tune in to your deepest desires.

To help you out, as I do each week, you’ll find below one video, one quote, one idea, and one thing you might want to try.

Here’s your 11:11 for today.

ONE VIDEO.

Choosing a single word as your focus for the year is a minimalist approach to goal setting that can bring truly unexpected benefits (and challenges!) to your growth. Today, I’m sharing a few of my own stories as cautionary tales.

You’ll also find a link to a tool created by one of my favorite coaches, Christine Kane, that you can use yourself to find the word that’s right for you. What she has is really really good. Details in the video!

ONE QUOTE.

Always begin by expecting
good things to happen.
- Tom Hopkins

ONE IDEA.

Your intention is a powerful force.

Taking the time to get clear about what you want to experience, create, manifest, or develop in your business (and your life) is all you really have to do to set that force in motion.

it isn’t even so much about the how. It’s about the vision, the power of clarity, and the energy of your good will upon the events that unfold before you.

But here’s the thing. Getting clear is much harder than we think it is. And that is precisely why most of us avoid the whole mess entirely.

So which camp do you fall into?

The camp of those who shrug their shoulders and say, ‘We never know what’s going to happen anyway, so why think about it? I’ll figure things out when the time comes.”

Or the camp of those who are determined to have an abundant year full of good things that you decide, declare and deliver - with intention.

ONE THING to TRY.

Let’s imagine that it’s December 31st, 2022.

And let’s imagine that you’re sitting down to send a New Year’s card to your best friend, who lives several states away. You haven’t seen her in ages, but you love her, and you know she gets excited when you share good news with her.

Tell her about the year you’ve just had: the wins you didn’t expect, the growth you never saw coming, the amazing ways your business has served your clients AND your family this year.

Tell her what you’re proud of, delighted by, and looking forward to.

Write all this out in a notebook, as if it were already true, as if it were real, as if you were sending it today.

Notice how good this feels.

Then put your note away, and let’s see what happens. :)

Sending you so much love...

P.S. If you want to make this even more powerful, share it with an entrepreneurial friend, an accountability partner, or (hit reply) with me!

P.P.S. To get your year - and that vision - off to an awesome start, join me for a free training series that I'm offering this month. Details below. xoxo

Attitude: ABUNDANT!©

FREE 3-PART TRAINING SERIES STARTS SOON!

Do you bounce back and forth between excitement about the healing you provide through your work, and worry about the income you might (gulp!) not make as a practice owner?

And does that happen EVEN if you've got a full calendar of loyal paying clients?

If so, that might not indicate a problem with your business savvy; it might be more about your money mindset, and the sneaky ways this can impact your business in a not-so-good way.

This month, I’ll be bringing you a series of totally free, LIVE trainings designed to help you spot the oh-so-subtle ways that money mindset in general - and the wrong kind of focus in particular - could actually be limiting your income and hurting your business.

And just in case you think this is a bunch of silly, woo-woo stuff that has nothing to do with ‘real’ business, let me caution you.

Unless you are unusually self-aware (and let’s face it, most of us are anything but), your relationship with money will impact the day to day management of your business in very specific ways, from payment, to packaging, to promotion.

But there's good news!

By the end of this series, you'll know exactly what it takes to develop a healthy money mindset so you can stop getting in your own way, and step confidently into a more profitable - and enjoyable!! - practice.

That’s what we’ll be talking about during Attitude: ABUNDANT!

DATES:
Part 1: Thursday, January 13, 12:15 eastern
Part 2: Tuesday, January 18, 12:15 eastern
Part 3: Thursday, January 20, 12:15 eastern
