You are Braver Than You Know

I know you want others to believe in you. And sure – sometimes they do. Sometimes, they don’t.

But this is my question. No matter your circumstances, no matter what’s going on, what anyone else says or does…

Do you believe in you?

Do you know what a powerful, creative, idea generating, problem-solving, relationship-building, money-making, world-impacting, difference-maker you are?

No. Probably not. Most of you have no idea.

And yet, I see it in you all the time.

I hear it in your voice when you talk about your dreams. I sense it in your words when I read your blogs or answer your questions. I feel it in your presence, when you are doing what you love, and you know it.

That’s when you, too, get a glimpse of this amazing power that you have.

You have a Moment, when something you say or do or create or offer is so good it gives you goosebumps. In fact, sometimes it’s so perfect it brings tears to your eyes. You know what I mean?

And it’s feels really good. :)

But it doesn’t last. Those old doubts pop right back in, and you toss off the moment as a fluke. “I was just having a good day,” you say to yourself. “Sometimes, I get lucky.

Hogwash.

Luck has nothing to do with it.

When you connect with your purpose, you are unstoppable, and alive with electricity. You step in to what you really know, and connect with a sacred part of yourself.

You’re ready for anything.

And I see it the most when you follow your dream, and build your business.

Your business. Your gift. Your way.

Because when you build your dream, you have to own your brave.

And that means so much.

It means having the courage to believe in yourself and share your unique gifts with the world. It means honoring all of that which is within you: your talents and abilities and skills and experience.

It means giving yourself credit for what you bring to the table. No longer hiding behind humility except in the space of grace and gratitude. Stepping fully and completely into your skin and happily owning that space.

It means taking that deep breath and doing that amazing thing you never thought you’d really do. It means allowing yourself to be excited as well as scared. It means loving what you do and doing what you love.

It means knowing that you will figure things out, including how to launch that idea, craft your message, hire a team, invest in your own growth, and yes – make money.  It means facing the tough times with faith, knowing that it’s all part of your becoming.

It means loving yourself and all of your glorious imperfections as much as you love others. It means answering the call of the Universe to be who you really are – fully and completely and without apology…

It means charting a course that is yours to follow,
no matter what anyone else thinks.

Isn’t it time that you enjoyed your work – and your life?

So many of you have wanted to do this for so long – whatever “this” is for you. What are you waiting for? Aren’t you tired of holding back, second guessing yourself, listening to the naysayers?

I hope you are. Because time is passing – and you’ve got something you want to do. Consider this your challenge — to #OwnYourBrave.

What do you want to do? And when are you going to get started?

It’s time.
