Courage in Action: 53 Years and Counting

It was 53 years ago today that Daddy took Mama to be his lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer.

They were just babies, it seems to me, when they fell in love, married, and moved 300 miles north to some place called Knoxville.

Being so far from all that they knew meant they had to find strength within themselves, and each other, to cope – and they did. Good thing too, as that was just the first Adventure of many to come.

And, Lord willin’, they’re not done yet.
