Episode 24. A Life of Service and Adventure: The Inspiring Journeys of Amye Cole, LMFT

Goodness…. I don’t even know how to tell you about this week’s podcast episode.

Today, you get to meet Amye Cole, an LMFT who offers counseling and clinical supervision in four states. Most of you have never heard of her - until now, that is.

But the truth is that when I met her, and heard more of her story,  I knew I had to introduce her to you. Just hearing the way Amye’s path has unfolded will undoubtedly inspire you to rethink your own.

In this episode, you’ll hear:

  • The two questions you need to be asking yourself over and over again as your career evolves.
  • How to explore, experience and - when needed - redefine who you are.
  • How we find what matters most (even when the answer is not what we expected.)

And there’s more, much more….

Are there roads you’ve wanted to travel along the way, but couldn’t bring yourself to try?

Maybe it’s time, my friend.

AMYE COLE, LMFT is a psychotherapist who provides tele-health services and clinical supervision in four states: Tennessee, Virginia, California and Nevada.

She’s also an adventurer, who has dedicated her life to providing service through everything she does. Over time, that has meant providing maternal health education to women in the Himalayas, bringing mental health support to genocide victims in Rwanda, and sometimes, simply helping her clients find their way through trauma and addiction. Her story has takeaways and wisdom for all of us…

  • When have I felt restless inside? What ideas or longings are calling me forward?
  • What would I do in my life or my practice if I could only figure out how?
  • What is the very first tiniest step I could take in that direction? And what might happen if I took that small step?
