When Your Practice Hits Capacity: Hiring Remote Help as a Growth Engine | IP 190

 

At some point, most successful practices hit a certain kind of ceiling.

You’re really busy. Your calendar is full - and everything feels tight. You don’t have time to return calls. Marketing falls off. Systems start to strain.

And growth? It either stalls… or starts to feel like it would break everything.

This is a problem… because when you are busting at the seams, you are limiting your potential in ways that you may not even recognize.

That’s a ceiling alright. ;)

In this episode, I spoke with Chris McShanag, founder of Virtual Teammate, about a different way of thinking about remote support — not just as a way to offload tasks, but as a way to expand capacity.

Like many of you, when I think about hiring help, I tend to focus on common office tasks, like… 

  • Managing billing
  • Scheduling clients
  • Returning phone calls
  • Filing paperwork…  

You know - admin.

What I don’t naturally think about is:

→ using support to drive referrals (totally new idea!).
→ staying in consistent contact with your network.
→ or building systems that allow your practice to grow without burning you out.

Whoa.

And whether or not you ever go that far - there’s something important here for all of us.

Because at the heart of this conversation is a simple question:

Is a limited perspective limiting your success???

Are you holding yourself back by doing everything yourself? If so, that might be costing you more than you know - in time, energy, and missed opportunities.
